Specifications & care

A one-liter water bottle in solid copper with a threaded copper cap, single-wall, with no lining or lacquer, so the water sits against bare copper. Two finishes: Mina, the traditional floral engraving cut by hand and inked black against the bright metal, and Pure, plain smooth copper with no pattern. Each engraved bottle is cut by hand, so no two patterns match.

Capacity 1,000 ml (33.8 fl oz). The cap is threaded and leak-resistant; stand the bottle upright in a bag rather than laying it flat. It is not insulated, so it holds water at room temperature and is not meant for hot drinks.

Use it for plain water. Keep juice, lemon water and other acidic drinks out of it. Hand wash only with warm water and a bottle brush; a little lemon juice and coarse salt brightens the inside and outside when the copper darkens, which bare copper does with use. No dishwasher.

  • Capacity: 1,000 ml (33.8 fl oz)
  • Material: pure copper, single-wall, unlined
  • Finish: Mina (hand-engraved, inked black) or Pure (smooth)
  • Cap: threaded copper, leak-resistant
  • Care: hand wash only, no dishwasher

Ships free in the US with a 30-day in-home trial. The 8 oz copper cup carries the same engraving; the 10 L copper dispenser does the same job for the whole house.

Part of the Copper Collection; care steps for the whole line are on the copper-care page.

Care

Hand wash only and dry after use. Copper darkens with time, which is the metal behaving normally. Lemon juice and coarse salt on a soft cloth return it to bright.

I heard a bunch of people talking about this livewell copper bottle on instagram. I figured it was real nice looking so i bought it. I agree with teh others,if you leave the water in it over night, it definitely tastes cleaner and, after a few days, i felt less brain fog (But i do fill it up 2-3 times a day tbh so i get alot of water in me). It feels better and different and tasts better and different than drinking from a plastic container. Look at the pic of mine, it is actually beautiful to look at, i get so many compliments on it from people in my office.

I’ve been trying to replace everyday products with more natural options, and this 100% copper bottle has become one of my favorites. I love the traditional feel of drinking water from copper, and the quality feels way better than the cheap bottles I’ve used before. It fits perfectly into my whole functional and natural wellness lifestyle.

I have read alot about detox and healthy living, but I’ve gone down the rabbit hole on copper—its history, antimicrobial properties, and all the traditional claims about immunity and wellness. I figured if I’m drinking water all day anyway, why not store it in copper? Since I started using this bottle, my water tastes noticeably crisper and I swear I have more energy throughout the day. Maybe there’s something to the old ways after all. I liked it so much I bought three—one for me, one for my wife, and one for my daughters. We use them every day.

As a new customer, they unexpectedly included a free organic toothpaste with my order, and it is honestly the best toothpaste I've ever used. It clearly shows this is a company that stands behind its products and goes above and beyond for its buyers.

Beautiful design, genuinely great-tasting water, and an amazing bonus!
I love the slightly old-fashioned look of these, especially the patterned copper. I bought this for my wife, and here is why it's been a hit:

Perfect Size: The 1-liter capacity is just right for her to take to work every day.

Better Taste: Call it a placebo, but we are both believers that the quality and taste of the water is 100x better.

A Nod to Tradition: The Ayurvedic history behind copper vessels is a nice touch to bring into a daily routine, even if you aren't expecting huge health miracles.

Display-Worthy: The design is the biggest draw. It's so nice that I happily leave it out on the dining table.

I’ve used bare copper wire for electroculture in my homestead garden for years, watching our plants thrive without chemical fertilizers. Bringing that same raw, natural power inside made total sense.

I don’t trust plastic jugs or mystery alloy thermoses, so Livewell Earth’s solid, untreated copper bottle was an easy choice.

I fill it and let water sit overnight to tap into copper’s natural antimicrobial properties. Drinking it during intense, late-night grad school study blocks delivered three immediate changes: crisp water that actually quenches deep thirst, zero afternoon energy dips, and a clear, focused head when working through difficult practice exams. Just clean craftsmanship that works in harmony with the body.

As with the copper pet water bowls, it appears to be solid copper well-made. Good seal on the cap. It works great.

Absolutely beautiful bottle. I originally bought it because I was trying to replace more plastic in my everyday routine, but I didn’t expect to love it this much. The copper has a gorgeous, substantial feel and looks so much nicer sitting on my desk than a regular water bottle.

The biggest surprise was the water itself—it genuinely tastes crisper and fresher to me when I drink from this bottle. I actually find myself drinking more water throughout the day because of it, and the 1L size means I’m not constantly refilling.

I had also been reading about the long history of storing water in copper vessels and copper’s natural antimicrobial properties, which made me even more interested in trying one. I know a water bottle isn’t a miracle health product, but I love incorporating something with such a long traditional history into my daily wellness routine.

It feels healthy, intentional, and honestly a little luxurious. I’ve already had several people ask me where I got it. Definitely one of my favorite purchases from LiveWell Earth.

Questions & answers

Straight answers.

Who is this for?
Anyone carrying the copper water ritual through the day, one liter at a time.
Is this solid copper?
Yes. A pure copper single-wall body with a threaded copper cap, with no lining and no lacquer coating, so the water sits against bare copper. The Mina engraving is cut by hand into the metal itself. Hand wash only, no dishwasher. Lemon and salt restore the shine.
What's not in it?
No lacquer coating; No plating or lining; No mass production.
Will mine look exactly like the photographs?
Handmade Disclaimer: Minor cosmetic variations and imperfections are natural characteristics of handmade craftsmanship and are not classified as flaws or defects.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Every order is backed by a 30-day promise: feel it or your money back. Shipping is free, both ways.
Engraved or smooth, which should I choose?
Same bottle, same copper, same cap. Mina carries the hand-cut floral pattern; Pure is plain and shows fingerprints and patina more plainly. Choose on looks.
Can I put hot drinks or juice in it?
No. It is single-wall and uninsulated, and acidic drinks draw more copper from the metal. Plain water only.
How do I clean the inside?
Warm water and a bottle brush after use, then dry upside down. For patina, swirl lemon juice with a spoon of coarse salt, scrub with the brush, rinse well.
